Job Description
Basic Responsibilities:
- Assess the capabilities of students and develop appropriate lesson plans and curricula
- Use both in-class activities and online resources to create a blended learning environment
- Organize conversational classes and fun events where students can engage with French culture
- Develop and grade informal and formal written and oral assessments
- Implement teaching lessons according to grade levels
- Conduct innovative sessions for students
- Develop appropriate learning materials, language games, and other teaching aids
- Monitor student performance and adjust teaching strategies and techniques for improved content delivery
- Establish classroom rules and ensure students understand and accept them
- Communicate any student issues to Principals and parents as required
- Offer suggestions to improve French lessons and general school operations
- Attend school events and staff meetings as required
- Perform other related tasks as necessary
Job Requirement
Education:
- Diploma, DALF / Degree in French language or Literature, Teaching certificate/License
Experience:
- 4 years’ experience teaching French language and literature
- Experience teaching international students
- Experience working in a highly multicultural environment
- Experience in effective classroom management
Other Requirement:
- Proven proficiency in oral and written French
- Good English Communication
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Patience, resilience, and cultural sensitivity
- Computer literate
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules
- Recommendation from a previous employer or a person known to SIM
