Main Responsibilities
- Manage day-to- day financial function of the company, ensure compliance with financial internal control and transactions area processed and assets managed in accordance with financial principles
- Perform monthly, quarter and annual accounts closure, bank reconciliations and submission of timely and accurate reports to finance and admin Head
- Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
- Monitor the day-to day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, payable, receivable and other transactions)
- Ensure compliance with legal, accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Analyze and forecast financial requirements for the company
- Design and prepare Audit schedules for internal and external Audit processors
Job Requirement
Qualification and Experience
- BA Degree in Accounting and Finance and related fields, 2-year experience
- At least 1-year direct experience in the areas of import, export and merchandise business company is mandatory
Skills and competency
- Possess high integrity and professionalism in the discharge of roles and responsibility
- Ability to handle conflict, stress and work under pressure
- Skills in working with accounting software, computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Amharic and Afan Oromo
