Job Description
Specific responsibilities of the position will include: Essential:
- Develop and implement a Resource Mobilization Strategy;
- Spearhead proposal development efforts ensuring efficient coordination with teams and the submission of high-quality grant proposals in strategic priority program areas;
- In collaboration with the management team, engage in organizational brand building including development of materials/programs to support fundraising efforts, such as brochures, promotion materials, documentaries, etc.;
- Identify and cultivate relations with strategic partners;
Job Requirement
- A Master’s degree (five years’ experience) or Bachelor’s degree (seven years’ experience) in Marketing Management/ Development/ Sociology/ Economics or other relevant field;
- At least three years in a senior role in the partnership development/proposal writing/fundraising, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, networking and communication skills;
Desirable:
- Knowledge of grant management, monitoring and evaluation practices;
- Understanding of media works, development and media policy and research;
- Familiarity with web-based or online fundraising techniques;
